Die Zeche Zollern II/IV in Dortmund war bei der Einweihung 1898 die Musterzeche der Gelsenkirchener Bergweks AG. Das Jugenstilportal der Maschinenehalle rettete die Zeche vor dem Abriss und sie wurde 1969 unter Denkmalschutz gestellt. Heute ist die Zeche Zentrale des Westfälischen Industriemuseums und vermittelt anschaulich die Arbeit eines Bergwerkes um die Jahrhundertwende.
